5 injured in gas explosion in Russian city of Belgorod

Moscow, Sep 22 (UNI) Five people have been injured in the explosion of a gas cylinder in a private house in the Shebekino urban district of Russia's Belgorod, with one of them still caught under the rubble, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Friday.
"All operational services are working on the spot. Victims are being provided with help. Three of them have head injuries, one person has burns. The reasons for what happened are to be established by the investigative service," the governor said on Telegram, adding that one more person was trapped under the rubble.
He also specified that according to the preliminary information from the emergency services, the cause of the explosion was linked to the exploitation of a gas cylinder.
