'Stray incident', B'desh Army chief says after Major shot dead by police

Dhaka, Aug 5 (UNI) Bangladesh Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed and Inspector General of Police Benazir Ahmed on Wednesday told a joint press briefing that the murder of retired Major Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan, killed in police firing, is a 'stray incident.'
The top brass of the forces also said the incident would not jeopardize the relation between the Army and Police.
Army and Police have always been working together. Both the forces are shocked at the incident. I want to give a message through you that we want to see it as a stray incident, Army Chief Aziz Ahmed told the press briefing held in Cox’s Bazar.
