Toyota to partially resume production in Japan on Feb 13 after temporary closure

Tokyo, Feb 9 (UNI) Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota will resume the work of four manufacturing lines at three factories in Japan after operations were halted due to revelations regarding the falsification of diesel engine testing results, Kyodo News Agency reported on Friday.
There is no information as to when the two lines, which remain closed, will resume production, according to the report.
In late December, Toyota announced the closure of all six manufacturing lines in Japan after Toyota Industries Corporation, which produces engines for Toyota-branded cars, falsified the results of testing.
