Athens to spend another $395.6 mn on fuel subsidies

Athens, June 21 (UNI/Sputnik) The Greek government will allocate another 375 million euros (
395.6 million) in subsidies to compensate for skyrocketing gasoline and diesel prices, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Tuesday.
The Greek government introduced the Fuel Pass program in late April allowing Greek drivers with a declared family income of fewer than 30,000 euros per year to receive a subsidy of 60 liters of gas per month at 22 euro cents per liter.
