Zimbabwean police say 13 killed in 2 road accidents

Harare, Aug 10 (UNI) A total of 13 people were killed in two road accidents in Zimbabwe on Friday, according to police.
"The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirms two fatal road traffic accidents which occurred this evening in Masvingo and Gokwe where a total of 13 people have died," police spokesperson Paul Nyathi said late Friday on X, formerly Twitter.
He said the first accident happened in the city of Masvingo, Masvingo Province, around 4:30 p.m. local time when a bus went off the road while the driver was negotiating a steep gradient.
