Strong winds predicted over Arabian Sea, west-south coasts; fishermen advised to stay away

Pune, Sep 18 (UNI) During next 24 hours, strong winds of speed 45-55 kmph very likely over southwest Arabian Sea as well as along and off coasts of south Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala and Karnataka.
Similarly, squally weather is predicted over Lakshadweep area, Gulf of Mannar and Andaman Sea. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these sea areas.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa, west Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, south Gujarat region, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe.
