Strong winds predicted over Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal; fishermen advised to stay away

Pune, Sep 10 (UNI) During next 24 hours, strong winds of speed 40-55 kmph very likely over southwest Arabian Sea, southeast Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea and Lakshadweep area.
Squally weather very likely along and off coasts of south Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these sea areas.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over coastal Karnataka, north and south interior Karnataka, Assam, Meghalaya, ghat areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Nicobar Islands, east Arunachal Pradesh, Marathwada, madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana and Rayalaseema.
