Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) For the first time, India Post has launched digital service for its customers in Mumbai on the occasion of National Mail Day on Saturday.
Speaking to media here, Postmaster General Swati Pandey said, "This is a unique android application designed and created by Mumbai postal region, which will enable the citizens to get the details of their postman when searched by locality, area, post office name and pincode.
"Now, Mumbaikars can talk to their postman directly and even if they are out of town they can ask the postman to come on other day or get their consignment delivered to their neighbour."
