Kolhapur, Oct 19 (UNI) With became aggressing again at cooperative sugar factory owners and both givermebts--central and state, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana (SSS) national president and former Mp Raju Shetty demanded FRP (Fair Remunerative Price) of Rs 3300 as first installment for per tone sugarcane in this crushing session, which should get in one time without any curtail in the amount.
Addressing a huge 20th 'Uas Parishad" (sugarcane convention), which was held this evening at Vikramsing ground in Jaysingpur town in Hatkanangale tehsil of this district , some 35 km from here on the backdrop of recently sever flood situation in July month, Mr Shetty said that sugarcane producer farmers should get FRP Rs 3300 per tone sugarcane as advance amount and after March at the end of the crushing session, we would decide the final FRP amount with co sudering sugar rates in open market.
Mr Shetty said that he would not give permission to temper FRP law of 1966 and would not take FRP in three installments as per decides Niti Commission and appealed to sugarcane producer farmers to agitate against state minister's with show black flags in coming Diwali festival to express protest on FRP amount in three installments.
