Aurangabad/Mumbai, Aug 6 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday said people of state have given mandate to Shiv Sena led by him and BJP alliance in recent Grampanchayat elections in the state.
In a tweet, Shinde stated that people voted for Shiv Sena-BJP coalition government in Gram Panchayat elections in the state.
Congratulation to all the winning candidates of Shiv Sena -BJP alliance and congratulations and thanks to all officials workers of BJP-Shiv Sena alliance who worked hard in election, tweeted Shinde .
Shinde also posted detailed reports of results in which he mentioned that out of 271 grampanchayat elections held, BJP won 82 followed by his group 40, while Uddhav Thackeray's Sena got 27, NCP 53, Congress 22 and others 47.
