Maha CM orders SIT in Bhandara rape case

Nagpur, Aug 6 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) be formed led by an IPS officer to fast track the Bhandara rape case in which a woman was raped by three men on two different occasion consecutively.
Shinde wants the probe into the sexual assault case on the woman hailing from Sawartoli village to be handled quickly in a time-bound manner and the culprits punished
"This incident is a blot on humanity and hence conduct investigation on fast track to arrest and punish the culprits so that no other person would ever dare to commit such a crime," said Shinde.
