Nagpur, Oct 18 (UNI) At least five Naxals were killed in an encounter with police in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district on Sunday, police said.
According to the police the gunbattle took place at Kosmi-Kisneli forest in the afternoon when the C-60 commandos were on their anti -naxals operation in the forest area in Dhanora taluka when the Naxals opened fire at them.
But after launching retaliatory attack by the police , the Naxals fled into the forest .
