Congress constitutes 264-member strong unit in Thane

Thane, Sep 20 (UNI) Former MLAs, Corporators and party old guards have been included in the new 264-member strong Thane Congress unit, announced Thane District Congress Committee chief Vikrant Chavan on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference, Mr Chavan told, "The Congress activists from all corners have been accommodated in the new committee comprising of 45 Vice Presidents, 57 General Secretaries, 1 Treasurer, 102 secretaries, 29 Permanent Invitees, 27 Advisors, and 3 spokesmen."
He asserted that he wants to take every member into confidence so as to make the party strong in this city of lake.

COVID-19: Nashik's recovery rate at 92 95 pc; less than 5k active cases
