Mumbai, Sep 5 (UNI) Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Saturday said that the Mumbai police is extending full cooperation to the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) in its probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The Mumbai police is extending full cooperation and support to the CBI in the probe and the investigation was
underway in Mumbai, he said.
The CBI team has been camping in Mumbai since August 20 to investigate the case, which was earlier being handled by the Mumbai police, the Minister said.

Actor Shushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14 and after that
Mumbai police were looking into the matter.
The CBI started its probe into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, two days after the Supreme Court asked the agency to take over the high-profile case which had triggered a war of words between Maharashtra and Bihar governments.
