NCP sends symbolic rakhis to PM Modi, Maha CM, DyCM

Pune, Aug 10 (UNI) The city unit of Nationalist Congress Party on Wednesday sent a symbolic rakhi each to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, reminding them of many problems facing citizens and also to make them aware of their duty towards citizens.
The spectre of inflation is attacking the citizens, the monster of unemployment has ruined the lives of the youth, fuel price hike has broken the backs of citizens, gas cylinder price hike is bringing tears to women's eyes, NCP spokesperson Pradeep Deshmukh said in a letter to the Prime Minister.
He further said that issues like women's safety, farmers' suicides are looming, but the government is suppressing the voice of the citizens by misusing the government systems, he added.
