Congress organises massive 'Save the Farmers' Rally on 15th October - Balasaheb Thorat

Mumbai, October, 13 (UNI) The Congress said on Tuesday that it has started an agitation in Maharashtra as well these black farm laws.
As a next step, a virtual rally called 'Save the Farmers' is being organized in Maharashtra on October 15. The rally will be held simultaneously in 10,000 villages. Arrangements have been made to see and participate through social media and an attempt is being made to reach out to 50 lakh farmers across the state, said Balasaheb Thorat, President Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee and Revenue Minister.
Talking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Thorat further added that in the state, the NCP has also opposed the black laws imposed by the central government and a meeting in this regard was held by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray too. The BJP government has imposed these laws on the farmers merely on the basis of the strength of its parliamentary majority and by violating all the rules of democracy and parliament.
