Congress MP demands sacking of UP govt on Lakhimpur incident

Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Oct 5 (UNI) Newly-elected Congress Rajya Sabha member Rajani Patil on Tuesday demanded that the Yogi Adityanath-led UP government should be sacked over the Lakhimpur Kheri incident and the subsequent detention of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
She also asked the Centre to intervene into the agri-political matter.
Talking to media persons post staging a protest in Shahaganj, she told, "The Uttar Pradesh Police has kept Priyanka Gandhi in illegal detention since last two days."
