Panaji, Jan 3 (UNI) Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Monday expressed confidence that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will get a majority and form the next government post assembly elections in Goa.
Addressing a press conference he said, 'A lot of development work has been done in Goa earlier during the tenure of (former Chief Minister) Manohar Parrikar and even now under the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. Due to the work our government is popular. Manohar Parrikar, Dr Sawant, (Union Minister) Shripad Naik, MLAs everybody has worked.'
"Looking at all these factors I am confident that we will get a full majority and we will form government post assembly polls in Goa,' he said.
Mr Gadkari was here to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various projects.
Earlier, in the day he inaugurated the election office of the party's state unit.
