Panaji, Oct 8 (UNI) The Congress in Goa on Thursday criticised State Power Minister Nilesh Cabral for saying people who were opposing Mollem Project should disconnect their power connections and claimed that in fact people would soon remove power plug of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government.
In a statement, Goa Congress Spokesperson Amarnath Panjikar alleged that BJP Government at the Centre under Modi-Shah duo was pressurising Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to facilitate the doubling of railway tracks to benefit their crony capitalist friends.
The Chief Minister and all his Cabinet Colleagues as well as the Party Office Bearers were offered huge amounts by the crony capitalists to support the three projects passing through Mollem Wildlife Sanctuary causing heavy destruction to nature, Mr Panjikar claimed.
