Margao, Sep 7 (UNI) The Congress in Goa on Monday asked the state government to drop privatisation plan of South Goa District Hospital and make it fully operational in 15 days.
In a statement, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar alleged that while the COVID situation in Goa had been turned into a nightmare by the 'insensitive' and 'irresponsible' Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government.
'The patients are made to sleep on floors as all hospitals are full, but the greed of making business from peoples sickness has resulted in health minister Vishwajit Rane keeping the two floors of South Goa District Hospital vacant.
