Joaquim, Yuri Alemao join Congress

Margao, Nov 21 (UNI) Former Minister Joaquim Alemao and his son Yuri Alemao joined Congress at South Goa District Congress Office here on Saturday.
Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar, Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat, South Goa District Congress President Joseph Dias, Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro, Ex Nuvem MLA Alex Sequeira, GPCC Vice President Sankalp Amonkar, General Secretary M K Shaikh, Mahila Congress President Pratima Coutinho, Youth Congress President Varad Mardolkar and other Congress functionaries were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Yuri Alemao said,'' I am a Commercial Air Pilot by profession. After completing my training in Australia, I returned to Goa to make a career in flying. But, when I reached back Goa, I realised that I need to remain grounded and work for the people. Hence I joined my father and started working for betterment of people.''
