Will not keep single stone unturned for overall development of Margao: Kamat

Margao, Jan 1 (UNI) Leader of Opposition Digmabar Kamat on Friday said that he will not keep a single stone unturned for overall development of Margao.
Speaking after inaugurating Culvert linking Margao City to Davorlim Village on Eastern Bypass intersection near Gujrati Samaj School for Special Children, he said, ''Margao is my Birth place and I am committed for overall development of this Commercial Capital of Goa. I will not keep a single stone unturned for overall development of the City of Margao.''
The culvert constructed at a cost of almost Rs 40 lakh was inaugurated at the hands of local resident and Senior Citizen Sudha Prabhu in the presence of Councillors Deepa Shirodkar, Damodar Naik, Avinash Shirodkar, Former Councillor Damodar Shirodkar, Rumdamol ZP member Ullhas Tuenkar, Sarpanch Esha Naik, Ex- Sarpanch Sophia Shaikj and Avita Chodankar, Deputy Sarpanch, Madhukala Shirodkar, Ex- Sarpanch Samuilla Fanibanb, and Panch Member of Davorlim Paresh Naik were present for the function.

Pune, April 25 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal(5.1°C or more) at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim; at isolated places over Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and Assam and Meghalaya; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Jharkhand; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana. These were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Vidarbha and east Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.7°C was reported at Anantapur
(Rayalaseema) over the country.
