Elections first, Public Health Last ?: AAP asks Govt

Panaji, Jul 24 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday lashed out at the Goa government saying that it was once again seeking to keep BJP's interest above that of the health of the people of Goa.
Addressing media in Mapuca after meeting some prominent people, AAP Goa Convener Elvis Gomes termed the announcement that 18th October was the ‘suggested’ date to hold Municipal elections as ‘applying salt to the wounds’ of the common man who is already reeling under distress due to the pandemic that had dried up incomes.
He also charged the State Election Commissioner (SEC) of being a mere Postman of the BJP which had given him the post retirement job.
