Jalyukt Shivar scheme benefitted farmers, not afraid from probe: BJP's Anil Bonde

Osmanabad, Oct 15 (UNI) "We are not afraid of the probe ordered into the Jalyukt Shivar scheme," asserted State BJP President Kisan Morcha Anil Bonde here on Thursday while reacting over the Maha Vikas Aghadi government's recent decision of investigating the scheme on the basis of the CAG report.
The CAG report has raised questions over the effectiveness of the Jalyukt Shivar scheme--a water conservation project initiated by the previous Devendra Fadnavis-led dispensation for making the state drought-free.
Addressing a press conference after touring the rain-damaged crops areas here, Mr Bonde asserted that he his ready to travel with the Special Investigation Team across the state and show them the positive results of the Jalyukt Shivar.
