Ahmedabad, July 25 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit India's first International Financial Services Center (IFSC), Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (Gift City), in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on 29 July.
According to government sources, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Home Minister Minister Amit Shah, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Ministers of State for Finance Dr. Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad and Pankaj Choudhary and Finance and Energy Minister of Gujarat Kanubhai Desai will be present.
During his visit, Modi will lay the foundation stone for the headquarters building of the International Financial Services Centers Authority (IFSCA), the unified regulator for the development and regulation of financial products, financial services and financial institutions in India at the International Financial Services Centers (IFSCS).
