Union Minister Shripad Naik recovering steadily: Official

Panaji, Aug 29 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Defence and AYUSH (Independent Charge) Shripad Naik is recovering steadily, according to a health department official.
The official said RT-PCR test conducted on the union minister on August 28, 2020, came out to be positive detecting COVID-19 virus in his body. The test would be conducted again after 48 hours, the official said.
Mr Naik was admitted to a private hospital near the city on August 12, 2020, after he tested positive for COVID-19.
