BJP trying to undermine office of President of India: NCP

Mumbai, May 24 (NCP) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Wednesday said it has joined other opposition parties in boycotting the May 28 inauguration function of the new Parliament House in protest against the BJP's efforts to "undermine" the office of the President of India by not inviting her for the programme.
NCP's Maharashtra state chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase said the party took the decision after all its MPs voiced their "displeasure" over President Draupadi Murmu not being invited to inaugurate the new Parliament House.
