Shinde directs officials to ensure Mumbai doesn't submerge during monsoon

Mumbai, May 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday directed officials to ensure that water does not overflow in Mumbai during the upcoming monsoon.
Shinde was intracting with media during his inspection tour before the monsoon.
He said If the drains - about 2200 km long - in Mumbai are cleaned properly and deep, Mumbaikars will be spared from waterlogging this monsoon.
