Aurangabad, Sept 20 (UNI) The Marathwada region of Maharashtra on Sunday reported as many as 47 deaths due to COVID-19, across the eight districts of the region during the past 24 hours.
The authorities also reported 1,614 fresh cases of COVID-19 in these district on Sunday.
According to the details of the data from all the district headquarters collected by UNI out of the eight districts of the region Osmanbad was the worst affected with 216 fresh cases and 15 fatalities, followed by Latur with 285 new cases and 11 deaths, Nanded 332 new cases and 7 deaths, Aurangabad 323 new cases and 5 deaths, Beed 155 cases and 3 deaths, Parbhani 108 cases and 3 deaths, Jalna 2 deaths and 126 cases and Hingoli 69 cases and one death.

Meanwhile, 21,907 fresh cases of corona were reported across Maharashtra and 425 deaths during the past 24 hours.
