Kolhapur, Aug 13 (UNI) Twenty Shiv Sena (SS) workers including two district SS presidents Sanjay Pawar and Vijay Devne and city SS president Ravsaheb Ingavale, were detained Saturday afternoon by the district police on the backdrop of state chief minister Eknath Shinde's brief visit to the district.
The SS district president was to stage demonstration in the front of district collector office when Mr Shinde would review meeting on the flood situation in the district, to express their protest against taking two ministers--Sanjay Rathod and Abdul Sattar in the state cabinet as they were involved in alleged criminal cases and demanded their resignations.
