Leopard skin seized

Nashik, Sep 5 (UNI) Officials of Igatpuri and Trimbakeshwar Regional Forest Zones have been successful in busting a gang involved in leopard organ (Skin) trafficking at Mauje Amboli village in Trimbakeshwar taluka of the district today.
According to the forest department a tip was received that some person came to sell the leopard skin. On information forest officers used as fake customers to purchase leopard skin. Forest officer laid a trap at Manjue Amboli village. The accused came to the place with leopard skin. There was a quarrel between the forest employees and the accused. Forest Range Officer Ketan Biraris opened fire in the air. After that all the forest team arrested Prakash Laxman Raut, (43) , Parashuram Mahadu Chaudhary (30) , Yashwant Hema Mauli (38) and Hetu Hema Mauli (38) all res.in Mokhada taluka of Palghar district .
In this action, the forest officials asked Forest Circle Officer Bhausaheb Rao to contact the persons involved in organ trafficking of leopards by posing as fake customers. Those persons decided to do the transaction by paying a certain amount for this transaction. But four times these persons had tried to change their places .
