Maha logs 3,659 new Covid cases

Aurangabad/Mumbai, June 22 (UNI) Maharashtra has reported 3,659 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, a health official said here on Wednesday.
With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 79,41,762 and the death toll goes up to 1,47,889.
Meanwhile,3356 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,68,958.
The state's recovery rate significantly came down to 97.82 per cent and fatality rate 1.86 per cent .

Presently, 24,915 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals.
,the bulletin added.
Meanwhile ,28positive patients were reported including 13 in Aurangabad, 5 positive patients each in Nanded and Osmanabad district , 2 patients each in Beed and Jalna and single case in Latur while no one patient was reported in the rest of 2 districts of Marathwada region of state ,the bulletin further added.
