Mumbai Sep 10 (UNI) Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday handed over funds of Rs 3,051 crore to the districts to help flood victims.
Following heavy rains and flood conditions in June, July and August 2022 causing damage to agricultural crops and agricultural land, the Chief Minister had announced that additional assistance will be given to the flood victims and the decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting Saturday, said CMO office in a statement.
Fulfilling his promises, the 3,501 crore funds have been approved from the State Disaster Response Fund and the State Government funds to the districts and the Relief and Rehabilitation Department has issued such a government decision Saturday, said CMO in a statement.
