BJP aims to win over 45 LS seats in Maha in general election: party chief

Nashik, Sep 11 (UNI) BJP has set target of winning more than 400 Lok Sabha seats across the country and over 45 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra in upcoming Lok Sabha elections, asserted party's state president Chandrasekhar Bawankule on Sunday.
While interacting with media here, he said that the public welfare schemes will be reviewed and like other constituencies, the party's main focus is on the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency, the bastion of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar.
On the issue of establishing BJP's supremacy in Baramati constituency, he sought to downplay Sharad Pawar's contribution to the development of Baramati, saying that he was being elected by people for 40 years, therefore, it was his duty to develop the constituency.
