Aurangabad, Sep 13 (UNI) Shiv Sena senior leader and former MP Chandrakant Khaire on Tuesday accused Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde of paying money to people to attend his meeting during his Paithan visit in Aurangabad.
Khaire alleged that it was 'paid meeting', as people were brought from outside, paying money to gather crowd in the meeting.
He claimed that Rs 300 to women and Rs 500 to men were paid for the gathering. He further alleged that the Chief Minister was speaking by reading the notes only. Only 25 per cent of the people in Paithan attended the Chief Minister's meeting, he said.
At a meeting, the state CM Shinde criticized the Uddhav Thackeray and his son and further said: "He was propagating thoughts of Balasaheb Thackeray." However, Khaire questioned this asking then why did he leave the party?
