Nashik, Sep 20 (UNI) Police should also be included in the survey team under the 'My Family, My Responsibility' campaign, said Maharashtra Food, Civil Supplies and District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal.
Speaking at a review meeting held at government guest house in Yeola tehsil on Saturday, he suggested to include the police personnel in the survey team for the ongoing 'My Family, My Responsibility' campaign.
Police should take action against those who break the rules for weddings and other ceremonies, he said.
The minister further said that action should be taken against those who oppose the investigation and conceal information.
Comorbid patients should be given more care under this campaign, he averred.
Survey work should not be stopped but continued in coordination with the private doctors, he said and asked the officials concerned to collect information of the patients daily.
He also said that Covid inspection camps should be organized in big villages and pointed that more efforts should be made to reduce the fear of corona among the people.
Mr Bhujbal further said the work of Yeola Sub-District Hospital should be completed immediately and some parts of it should be converted into Covid Centre, he added.
Prior to the review meet, he visited Yeola Sub-District Hospital to inspect the ongoing work and directed the medical officers and executive engineers to set up Covid Care Centers in the sub-district hospitals.
