COVID-19: Sangli records 865 new infection cases, 38 deaths in 24 hrs

Sangli, Sep 16 (UNI) Sangli district in Maharashtra recorded 865 fresh infections and 38 deaths in the 24 hrs that has brought the overall tally to 25,653 and death toll to 969, an official statement confirmed.
With 613 patients being cured, the district's total recoveries have spiked to 15,437.
Meanwhile, the district has 9,247 active cases, the statement added.
