Aurangabad, Nov 21 (UNI) The Marathwada region of Maharashtra recorded 54 fresh COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths were reported due to virus during the past 24 hours, health authorities informed on Sunday.
The district headquarters report stated that of eight districts in the region, Aurangabad district was the worst-affected with 10 cases and two deaths , followed by Beed had 13 cases and single death, Latur had 12 cases and single death, Parbhani had 9 cases , Osmanabad recorded 8 cases, Nanded and Hingoli had one case each and Jalna district nil, they added.
Meanwhile, during the past 24 hours, 833 fresh cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the state, taking the total number of infections to 66,29,577.
