Mah - Marathwada region reports more than 400 cases of COVID-19

Aurangabad, Oct 30 (UNI) The eight districts of Maharashtra's Marathwada region reported 474 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, authorities said on Friday.
The region also witnessed 14 more corona-related deaths during the same period.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts of the region, Jalna was the worst affected with 60 fresh cases and 6 fatalities, followed by Beed with 70 new cases and 4 deaths, Aurangabad 133 cases and 3 deaths, Nanded 71 cases, Osmanabad 56 cases, Latur 50 cases, Parbhani 25 cases and Hingoli 9 cases.
Meanwhile, 5,902 more corona cases and 156 deaths were reported across the state during the same period.
With this, the state's case tally reached 16.66 lakh.
While 7,883 cured patients were discharged taking the total up to 14.94 lakh, 43,710 patients have so far succumbed to the disease.
At present, 1.27 lakh patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals and Covid care centres, in the state.
