Maharashtra reports over 60 Omicron cases

Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) Maharashtra on Monday recorded 68 new Omicron cases, with the highest 40 patients found in Mumbai, informed official data.
While, 14 cases of the new COVID variant were detected in Pune city, four in Nagpur, three each in Pune rural and Panvel, and one each in Kolhapur, Navi Mumbai, Raigad and Satara.
Now, the state’s Omicron tally stands at 578 while 259 of them have been cured, data added.
