419 COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra's Marathwada region

Aurangabad, Nov 23 (UNI) Eight districts of Maharashtra's Marathwada region reported 419 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, health authorities said on Monday.
The region also witnessed eight fatalities since Sunday.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts in the region, Aurangabad was the worst affected with 113 fresh cases and 3 deaths, followed by Beed with 65 new cases and 3 deaths, Nanded 85 cases and single death, Jalna 25 cases and single death, Latur 79 cases, Osmanabad 34 cases, Hingoli 11 cases and Parbhani 10 cases.
Meanwhile, 5753 more corona cases and 50 deaths were reported across the state.
With this, the state's case tally reached 17.80 lakh with 16.51 lakh patients having cured so far.
According to the health officials, 46,623 patients have so far succumbed to the disease in the state and 81,512 patients were undergoing treatment.
With this, the recovering rate of cured patients has gone up to 92.75 per cent and fatalities rates 2.62 per cent.

Pune, April 25 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal(5.1°C or more) at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim; at isolated places over Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and Assam and Meghalaya; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Jharkhand; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana. These were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Vidarbha and east Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.7°C was reported at Anantapur
(Rayalaseema) over the country.
