Marathwada region reports 56 deaths due to COVID-19

Aurangabad, Sept 17 (UNI) Marathwada region in Maharashtra on Thursday reported 56 new deaths due to COVID-19 the highest single day count of fatalities from across the eight district of the region during the past 24 hours.
The region also reported 1,586 fresh cases of coronavirus, authorities said on Thursday.
According to the details data from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts of the region Latur was the worst affected with 335 fresh cases and 10 fatalities, followed by Aurangabad with 227 new cases and 9 deaths, Beed 248 new cases and 9 deaths, Nanded 255 new cases and 9 deaths, Osmanabad 318 cases and 6 deaths, Jalna 115 cases and 6 deaths, Parbhani 73 cases and 6 deaths and Hingoli 15 new cases and one death, the data added.
