Marathwada region reports more than 1,000 cases of coronavirus

Aurangabad, Aug 24(UNI) At least 1,083 new cases of coronavirus were reported across the eight districts of Marathwada region of Maharashtra during the past 24 hours, authorities said on Monday.
Some 22 fatalitites were also reported till late last night, from all the respective districts headquarters.
According to official data collected from all the district by UNI, Aurangabad district recorded the highest six 6 deaths and 288 positive cases.
It was followed by Nanded 6 deaths and 89 cases, Jalna with 113 cases and 4 deaths, Latur with 2 deaths and 144 cases, Parbhani with 2 death and 36 cases, Hingoli with 18 cases and 1 death, Osmanabad with 208 cases and Beed with 128 cases.
