Marathwada region registers 565 fresh nCoV cases, 30 deaths

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Oct 19 (UNI) Maharashtra's Marathwada region reported at least 565 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours in all the eight districts combined, authorities said on Monday.
The districts also witnessed 30 more corona-related deaths during the same period.

Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts of the region, Beed was the worst affected with 79 fresh cases and 8 fatalities, followed by Aurangabad with 120 new cases and 6 deaths, Latur 75 cases and 5 deaths,Jalna 99 cases and four deaths Nanded with 92 cases with three deaths, Osmanabad 57 new cases 3 death, Hingolib 9 cases and one death and Jalna 34 cases.
Meanwhile, 9,060 more corona cases and 150 deaths were reported across the state during the same period.
With this, the state tally mounted to 15.95 lakh, of them 13.69 lakh were cured and 42,115 were succumbed so far.
While at present, 1.82 lakh patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals and Covid care centers.
