Maharashtra reports 785  new Covid cases and 6 deaths

Aurangabad/Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) Maharashtra reports 785 fresh positive of Covid-19 case and 6 related deaths, according to health bulletin on Tuesday.

With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 80,35,046 and the death toll has gone up to 1,48,068.
Meanwhile, 937 patients were cured and discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 78,72,444.
The state's recovery rate currently stands at 97.98 per cent and fatality rate is at 1.84 per cent .
Presently, 14,534 active patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals, across the state, the bulletin added.
Meanwhile, the Marathwada region reported 57 new Covid cases and 2 related deaths, including 14 cases and 2 deaths in Aurangabad district, followed by 20 cases in Latur district, 19 cases in Osmanabad district and 4 positive cases in Beed district, while no new cases were reported from the remaining 4 districts, the bulletin further added.

Pune, Apr 23 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Bihar, Telangana, Kerala and Mahe and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Assam and Meghalaya; at many places over Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, east Uttar Pradesh and coastal Karnataka. These were appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Uttarakhand, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.8°C was reported at Cuddapah (Rayalaseema) and Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) over the country.
