Covid-19: M'rashtra reports 1,201 fresh cases, 8 deaths

Aurangabad / Mumbai, Dec 22 (UNI) Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 1,201 new Covid-19 patients and eight fatalities in a single day, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 66,52,166 and the toll to 1,41,375, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 953 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 64,99,760.
The state's recovery rate and the fatality rate were unchanged at 97.72 per cent and 2.12 per cent, respectively.
