Covid-19: M'rashtra records lowest of 809 cases, 10 deaths

Mumbai, Nov 1 (UNI) For the second time in a week, Maharashtra on Monday reported 809 fresh Covid-19 patients, the lowest since the pandemic hit in March last year, and 10 fatalities in a single day, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 66,11,887 and the toll to 1,40,226, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 1,901 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 64,52,486.
The state's recovery rate further improved to 97.59 per cent, while the fatality rate was steady at 2.12 per cent.
