Marathwada region reports 1731 new COVID-19 cases, 42 fatalities

Aurangabad, Sep 18 (UNI) As many as 1731 fresh COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the Marathwada region during the past 24 hours, authorities said on Friday.
The districts also registered 42 more fatalities during the same period.
According to the data collected by UNI from all the district headquarters, Latur was the worst affected with 320 fresh cases and 10 fatalities followed by Beed with 303 new cases and eight deaths, Nanded 264 new cases and eight deaths, Jalna 97 new cases and six deaths, Aurangabad 360 cases and five deaths, Parbhani 78 cases and three deaths, Osmanabad 268 cases and two deaths and Hingoli 41 new cases.
