Aurangabad, Nov 24 (UNI) Eight districts of Maharashtra's Marathwada region reported 378 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, health authorities said on Tuesday.
The region also witnessed 12 fatalities during the same period.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts in the region,Latur was the worst affected with 54 fresh cases and 5 deaths, followed by Beed with 58 new cases and 3 deaths, Aurangabad 141 cases and 2 deaths, Nanded 36 cases and single death, Parbhani 16 cases and single death, Jalna 38 cases, Osmanabad 32 cases and Hingoli 03 cases .
Meanwhile, 4153 more corona cases and 30 deaths were reported across the state.
With this, the state's case tally reached 17.84 lakh with 16.54 lakh patients having cured so far.
According to the health officials, 46,653 patients have so far succumbed to the disease in the state and 81,902 patients were undergoing treatment.
