Aurangabad records fresh 694 COVID cases, District toll reaches 16657

Aurangabad, Jul 21(UNI) Around 694 fresh cases of novel coronavirus and 13 corona infected fatalitites were reported across the eight districts of Marathwada region in Maharashtra up to late night on Monday.
With this , the total positive cases reached 16657 in these districts while the region death toll also rose to 614 so far, the data added.
According to the official data collected from all the district headquarters by UNI stated that 'Aurangabad, one of the worst affected district in the region, saw 438 fresh cases which is high ever in single day with five fatalities, followed by 51 cases and three deaths in Nanded district, 26 cases and three deaths in Beed, 45 cases and two deaths in Osmanabad ,53 cases each in Latur and Jalna district, 22 cases in Hingoli and six cases in Parbhani district.
